Department of Linguistics and Literature, Graduate School of Humanities
Eiketsu: The Making of Bakumatsu Heroes Department of Philosophy, Graduate School of Humanities My research examines the reception and interpretation of “heroes” of the late Tokugawa/bakumatsu period, both in the study of history and in popular culture, beginning with Sakamoto Ryōma as an exempl [...]
The functional interface between strand exchange and DNA synthesis in homologous recombination Department of Systems Life Sciences, Graduate School of Systems Life Sciences Homologous recombination (HR) is a reaction that repairs DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs) using homologous sequences. This process is crucially dependent on the strand exchange reaction and DNA synthes [...]
Quantitative analysis of ionospheric disturbances caused by meteorological phenomena using total electron content maps Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Graduate School of Science In recent years, it has become clear that severe convective activities such as typhoons and tornadoes that occur in the troposphere have an impact on the ionosphere. This study provides a quantitative [...]
Computing special values of L-function and their algebraic parts using modular forms Department of Mathematics, Graduate School of Mathematics Studying a relationship between number-theoretic invariants and special values of L-functions is one of the most important problems in number theory. The Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer (BSD) conjecture ass [...]
Comprehensive Investigation of Star-Forming Environments and Protostar Evolution Using Zoom-In Simulations Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Graduate School of Science Understanding the distribution of stellar masses in star-forming regions is crucial not only for star formation studies but for astronomy as a whole. This study implement a new method combining two ty [...]
