レーザー核融合ロケットとは、レーザー照射式核融合で生じる莫大なエネルギーを利用してプラズマを生成し、超伝導コイルで生成した強磁場との相互作用で排出して推力発生を得るロケットである。推力発生には、プラズマと磁場の相互作用が生じた後で磁力線からプラズマが切り離されること（デタッチメント）が必要になるが、メカニズムがわかっていない。そこで、第一原理シミュレーションでデタッチメントを検証する。
