本研究の目的は自然災害を経験したことのない未災者を対象として、アートを通した災害伝承の教材・カリキュラムを開発し、地域社会における持続的な災害伝承を実現することである。具体的には、東日本大震災から10年が経過した宮城県をフィールドに、美術、音楽、演劇等による伝承活動を定性的に評価し、ボトムアップで理論を生成し、その結果をもとに伝承活動を行う団体や芸術家との協働で新たな教材・カリキュラムを開発する。
