本研究は、大学1年生から4年間の前向き追跡研究を用いて、成績不良に影響する生活習慣パターンを検討し、成績不良のリスク低減に寄与する生活習慣の予測モデルを構築する。大学生の将来的な学業不振のリスクを低減させる生活パターンを解明できれば、生活習慣への包括的な早期介入が可能となる。このことは、若年層の良質な生活習慣の獲得によって、中高年期の生活習慣病の発症予防にもつながるかもしれない。
