The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and the Fukuoka City Government will jointly host a hackathon program in which students from the Fukuoka region and Indonesia form cross-border teams to develop global business ideas. In addition to online workshops, participants will take part in a joint hackathon in Jakarta, Indonesia, a Demo Day, startup visits, and networking opportunities.
This program offers a valuable opportunity to engage with diverse perspectives and take the first step toward becoming an entrepreneur who can thrive on the global stage.

*1 JETRO: A government-related organization under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) that supports the overseas expansion of Japanese companies and startups.
*2 Hackathon: A hands-on program in which participants work in teams within a limited timeframe to generate ideas and develop service concepts or business models.
