We would like to inform you about regular recruitment for K²-SPRING.
We plan to call for K²-SPRING regular recruitment around November 2025 for those who plan to enroll in Kyushu University’s doctoral program in October 2025 or April 2026 (including those who plan to apply or take the entrance examination).
Pre-entry must be required before you apply ( Your pre-entry No. is required when you submit your applications).
The application guidelines are scheduled to be released in mid-October, and the screening results will be announced by the end of February (Details are currently being worked out).
When the application guidelines are released, we will notify you on our website and KU student portal system, so please wait for a while.

*Transcript received in the past are also acceptable (Only those with the date of graduation). You don’t have to obtain a new transcript.

We inform you of the necessary documents in advance, so please make sure to have them ready by the deadline.
*Application for the K²-SPRING is not an application for admission to the doctoral courses of Kyushu University. In addition, the result of the K²-SPRING selection is not linked to the result of the graduate school entrance examination. Regarding the entrance exam for the doctoral course, please ask each graduate school.
*This recruitment also applies to individuals planning to enter Kyushu University’s doctoral program in April 2026 from outside the university.
Please note that no recruitment will be conducted after April 2026 following enrollment.
*For those who pass the FY2026 regular recruitment, support for international students will be as follows.

April 2027 onwards: Only the “Research Expenses” will be provided*1
