Theme: “Scientists Beyond Boundaries – What is the “5W1H” required of researchers across disciplines, organizations, gender, and borders?”

Date:  June 12(Thu), 2025, 4:30 p.m.- 6 p.m.

Overview:
We are now facing unprecedented historical turning points: climate change, pandemics, and structural changes in politics, security, economy, and society.
Countries around the world are beginning to position advanced technologies such as AI and telecommunications at the core of their national power, while fundamentally reexamining research, industry, and the way we live our lives.
In these times, we are being asked anew: “What is science? What is a scientist?”
In this webinar, we welcome Dr. Tatsuo Arimoto, who has been leading science and technology innovation policy as a top government official for many years, and has also made efforts to build domestic and international networks.
Let’s explore together the 5W1H (Who, What, Where, When, Why, How) of “cross-border youth” who can research, live, and talk with each other in the rapidly changing global society.
We look forward to your participation.
