JST’s ASPIRE Program supports the promotion of international brain circulation through building research networks and nurturing talent, aiming for Japanese researchers to collaborate with scientists worldwide and thrive globally. In the first half of this webinar, leading researchers and next-generation scientists from ASPIRE-supported projects in the rapidly advancing AI/information field and the materials field—where Japan is a leader—will take the stage. They will delve into how ASPIRE enables their wide-ranging initiatives and challenges. In the second half, JST’s ASPIRE program officers will explain the key points of the 2026 call for proposals in detail, deepening understanding of the program. Amidst rapidly changing international circumstances, this webinar offers a valuable opportunity to gain significant insights into the critical importance of international collaboration through ASPIRE.
