The second Ph.D. Lounge event of the 2026 academic year will be held in person on Wednesday, June 17, from 5:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Ph.D. Lounge is a casual networking event for graduate students. It aims to provide an opportunity for doctoral students to connect with peers who may share concerns unique to doctoral study, speak informally with students from other disciplines, and take a short break from their research and studies.
This time, the event will begin with short talks by two early-career faculty members from Kyushu University. They will share their own experiences during their doctoral studies, along with messages for students currently pursuing graduate studies.
