<Course Outline>
This course consists of five on-demand sessions based on the Brown Bag Seminar (BBS) series organized by the Kyushu University Institute for Asian and Oceanian Studies (Q-AOS). It presents a variety of SDG-related research conducted at Kyushu University, providing students with a multifaceted opportunity to explore global issues and forward-looking initiatives. In particular, the course focuses on topics related to the “potentials for future societies.” Students will watch on-demand videos and submit short reports. They will also have the opportunity to attend a live BBS session of their choice during the term and share questions or comments with the presenter.Through the Moodle, students will be able to read each other’s reports, encouraging evaluative thinking as well as deeper learning and understanding.
