The first Ph.D. Lounge of AY 2026 will be held in person on Wednesday, April 8, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m..
Ph.D. Lounge is a casual networking event mainly for doctoral students and master’s students who are considering pursuing a doctorate. If your schedule allows, please feel free to drop by for a short break from your research. We hope this will be a good opportunity for graduate students at Kyushu University to connect with one another and broaden their networks. International students are also welcome to participate.

The SPRING/BOOST program briefing session will also be held on the same day, and Big Orange will be opened from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. SPRING/BOOST program students may attend the online briefing session individually at the venue during that time. You are welcome to stay and join the event afterward.
Notes:
・If you plan to attend the information session at the venue, please bring your own laptop or other electronic device. The session will not be projected on a screen.
・As the Ph.D. Lounge is mainly intended for doctoral students across the university, as well as master’s students considering doctoral study, participants other than Spring students are also expected to attend.
・This event will take place during lunchtime, and some snacks will be provided. If you plan to attend, please bring your own lunch, although this is not required.
